General Physical Description:
- Grain Type: Extra-Long Slender.
- Colour: Available as Creamy Sella (white/cream tint) or Golden Sella (yellow/amber tint).
- Appearance: Polished, translucent, and very slender. It is often indistinguishable from 1121 to the untrained eye.
- Texture: Firm and non-sticky. When cooked, the grains remain separate and exhibit a “soft-yet-firm” bite.
- Aroma: Pleasant, mild Basmati fragrance. While aromatic, it is generally considered slightly less intense than Traditional or 1121 varieties.
