General Physical Description:
  • Grain Type: Extra-long slender.
  • Colour: Creamy white (Raw/Steam) or golden/translucent (Sella).
  • Aroma: Moderate to strong fragrance; very similar to traditional Basmati.
  • Appearance: The grains are thinner and slightly longer than Traditional Basmati but shorter than the 1121 variety.
  • Cooking Texture: Non-sticky, soft, and fluffy. It has excellent volume expansion (the grain swells significantly but maintains its slim shape).
