  • Texture: Free-flowing and dry. It should be free from large hard lumps, which suggest high moisture or poor storage.
  • Odour: Fresh, nutty, and characteristic of toasted soy. It must be free from any solvent (hexane) smell, mustiness, or rancidity.
  • Purity: 100% soy origin. It must be free from castor seeds, mahua seeds, or any other toxic adulterants.
